Eibar will need to shake this result off quickly. They have made a good start to the season so far, but this defeat has perhaps shown them up a little bit. They lack true quality.

That was a decent chance for Lekic, who is falling backwards when the cross from Capa comes into the box, but his overhead kick of sorts is fired over the bar. That was an opportunity.

Abraham tries his best to burst forward down the left side, as he has done all the way through the game, but Real Madrid have figured out the full-back a bit and the challenge is made.

This might now be a case of damage limitation for Eibar. Real Madrid are coasting in these final 10 minutes or so, but when they get up a head of steam you feel they could score a few more.

Indeed Coentrao comes on for Real Madrid and will play at left back after replacing Marcelo in the position. He was so impressive in the run to the Champions League final.

This result will put Real Madrid four points clear of Atletico Madrid, who recorded a win over Malaga earlier today. And of course Barcelona face high-flyers Sevilla after this game.

Abraham tries to get around the back of the Real Madrid defence, as he has done more than once tonight, but this time Carvajal has the beating of him and shields the ball out of play.

Here come more changes from Ancelotti. It looks like Fabio Coentrao could be about to come on for Real Madrid. He's had such a tough time of it with injuries of late. Marcelo off?

Real Madrid are in full control of this game now and Ramos has probably been brought off to both rest him and make sure that he doesn't pick up another booking and sour a good performance.

It looks like Ancelotti is about to ring the changes with this game now won. Raphael Varane has been warming up for quite some time now on the sidelines and will replace Ramos.
