Capa plays a great ball in behind the Real Madrid defence for Saul to run on to. But Casillas makes a good save from the Eibar forward, although the flag was raised by the linesman.

Even when Eibar aren't in their opponents' face trying to win the ball back, the home fans are whistling Real Madri, trying to put at least some sort of pressure on the European champions.

This feels like a cup game, such is the nature of this tiny stadium and the vociferous home atmosphere. It actually feels like a British match right now rather than a Spanish La Liga game.

Eibar are seeing plenty of the ball since losing the opening goal. Garcia is closing down Real Madrid with some intensity when they have the ball, but I wonder how long they can keep this up for?

Replays show that when Ronaldo's first cross was played into the box Benzema was at least three yards offside. But the goal stood when the ball came back into the area for Rodriguez.

Of course, Eibar are performing above all expectations in La Liga this season. They came close to not being here at all due to financial issues, but they're now sitting in mid-table.

This game has actually started very evenly between the two teams. Eibar, by their nature, are a very high tempo team and will cause Real Madrid issues tonight. But can they shut them out at the back?

Great freekick strike by Bale. It was dipping and swerving, but the Eibar goalkeeper Irureta makes a very good stop to deny the Welsh winger from opening the scoring. Great effort.
