Atletico Madrid have been reduced to 10 men! Siquiera lunges to try and make a challenge on Vela but only succeeds in bringing down the Mexican forward to collect his second yellow card.

SENT OFF! Guilherme Siquiera (Atletico Madrid)

I think Zubikarai did just enough. Koke's delivery into the near post from a corner kick causes mayhem, with the keeper coming off his line. He doesn't get there but does just enough to put off Garcia with his header.

Griezmann is warming up on the touchline. Could he be set to come on against his former side in the second half? Atletico Madrid could do with his creativity in the final third.

Will Real Sociedad be made to rue their missed opportunities in the first half? Agirretxe should have found the net and they should have been awarded a penalty kick for a foul on Vela.

HALF TIME: Real Sociedad 1-1 Atletico Madrid

Godin gets his head to Koke's freekick into the penalty area, beating the goalkeeper Zubikarai to the delivery. But his effort flies over the crossbar. Perhaps the keeper did just enough.

That was a waste from Granero. The ball sat up nicely for the former Real Madrid and QPR midfielder, but despite making a good contact his half volley flew over the crossbar.

Having said that, Atletico Madrid are masters are finding a crucial goal just before the break. Can they do it again? They did it so many times last season.

I don't think Simeone will be very happy about the performance of his team at half-time. They have taken a number of risks defensively and are lucky not to be behind at this stage.

This has been a very strange performance from Atletico Madrid. They certainly haven't been at their best and are allowing Real Sociedad to get shots off from the edge of the box.

The break is on for Atletico Madrid, but Turan takes too long on the ball and Real Sociedad recover to get at least five players back. That was good tenacity from the home side.

Real Sociedad win a freekick on the left side of the pitch. Granero aims a shot from a tight angle towards goal, but Moya makes the save and punches the shot away from danger.

What was Miranda thinking? I've certainly never seen him make that kind of mistake before. Godin did really well to get back on the line and make amends for his partner's mistake.

Off the line! Miranda plays his side into trouble with a backpass that is cut out by Agirretxe, who rounds Moya in the Atletico Madrid goal. But Godin gets back to clear the shot off the line.

Gonzalez has played well at the back for Real Sociedad tonight. He normally doesn't play there. He usually plays in the centre of midfield, but has been solid so far tonight against Atletico.
