The pass from Messi for the goal...

Eibar are starting to take a grip of things again. Barcelona do look vulnerable at the back and the likes of Orellana are finding ways to expose them from time to time. Good intensity.

Orellana is the man causing Barcelona problems for the home side. We all know the ability he has, but the Chilean can be inconsistent. The former Celta man is on form today, though.

Barcelona have improved as this half has progressed, but they are still struggling to create much in the way of goalscoring opportunities. Valverde will want that to change.

BIG CHANCE FOR PAULINHO! The Brazilian midfielder got his timing all wrong. Alba picked out Paulinho with a clipped cross, but his header was straight at Dmitrovic in goal.

JORDAN SHOOTS WIDE! Eibar create an opportunity out of nothing, pouncing on a loose Barcelona pass from a throw in. Jordan couldn't direct his shot on target, though.

This does feel like a bit of a cup tie, and not a Spanish cup tie, an English FA Cup tie. It has that sort of feeling. Barcelona don't normally play in these sort of surroundings. Humbling.

At the moment, it feels like Barcelona are finding it too easy to keep Eibar at arm's length. The home side are finding it difficult to win the ball back from them. Frustrating for Eibar.

The verve has disappeared from the play of Eibar since that opening goal. It has knocked the stuffing from the home side. They need to regroup and challenge again.

The pitch isn't so good at the Ipurua. It's cutting up under the feet of the players out there. Might that become a factor in the game? Or will both teams just find a way to cope?

Iniesta is enjoying himself out there. The playmaker's selection for this game was something of a surprise, given that Barca will need him against Chelsea, but he's playing well.

There are now signs of frustration starting to bubble to the surface for Eibar. They will feel aggrieved that having been the better side in this first half so far, they find themselves behind.

There's another penalty claim for the home side, but this time Orellana seems to have made the most of the contact. The referee says there was no foul from Umtiti. Right call.

OFF THE CROSSBAR! Inches away from being an equaliser for Eibar! Orellana takes aim from 20 yards out, beating Ter Stegen, but his effort comes back off the bar. What a strike!

How will Eibar react to losing that goal? They were dominant but find themselves a goal behind. That's the danger you face against Barcelona. They can create something out of nothing.

Well, that was outstanding from the Liga pace-setters. Eibar did very little wrong in their defending, it was just that the pass and finish from Messi and Suarez respectively was excellent.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Eibar 0 Barcelona 1 (16 mins - Luis Suarez). That goal has come against the run of play! Barcelona score with their first real chance of the match. Messi threaded a wonderful pass through to Suarez, who rounds the keeper and finishes into the empty net.

The high press from Eibar in these opening 20 minutes has been incredible. But of course the question is - will they be able to keep this going for the full 90 minutes? Or will they tire?
