Celta Vigo need to get some service to Aspas. He is a player who can cause Barcelona problems and yet we have hardly even mentioned him in this first half. Very, very quiet.

There's so much space for Barcelona to gallop into whenever they have flying forward on the counter attack. Sometimes it just seems that the Camp Nou pitch is giant.

Wide from Suarez! The Barcelona striker was allowed too much space on the edge of the opposition box, but the shot was tame and Ruben watches it bounce wide of his post.

That's a very strange decision. The ball was clearly out of play and Alba stopped play. But somehow the officials failed to spot it. Celta Vigo win the throw in when they really shouldn't have.

Dembele has been excellent in this first half. It's his goal that is the difference between the two teams at the moment, but more than that, he has been Barca's best outlet along with Alba.

Good save from Ter Stegen! That was a chance for Gomez on the edge of the Barcelona box. It was a low strike, but the German goalkeeper made the smart save.

A second goal for Barcelona could have effectively killed this game as a contest. It was actually good defending from Araujo to get back and clear from his own goalline.

Off the line! Barcelona come flying forward on the counter, Messi threads in Dembele, Ruben comes off his line, then Araujo gets back to make the clearance on the line from Alba.

Alba is back on the pitch! That's a relief for Barcelona. The left back is so crucial to the way they play, so Valverde will be pleased to see Alba able to continue after a slight knock.

Was that a penalty? Mendez believes that there was a handball from Lenglet as the cross was played into the box, but replays show that the defenders had his arms by his side.

Alba is down! This could be a problem for Barcelona. Alba has hit the ground and seems to have picked up a knock. Valverde has sent Miranda to go warm up. Might a change be needed?

Alba has been so effective down the left side for Barcelona in these opening 20 minutes. He's almost playing as a left forward, which of course isn't totally unusual from him.

As already referenced earlier, Atletico Madrid claimed a win earlier in the day. That drew them level with Barcelona at the top of La Liga. There is a title race in Spain this season.

This has been a good start to the match from Barcelona. The pace and tempo of the game so far has actually been quite slow, but there's no denying who is on top right now.

Barcelona are now taking a grip of this game. They are attempted to suffocate the contest, passing the ball around the midfield and making Celta Vigo do a lot of chasing.

It's not often that you see that. A Barcelona attacking move breaks down after Messi misplaces a pass. He wasn't expecting Rakitic to make the run and the ball was played behind him.
