Barcelona just had too much for Valencia. Ansu was the standout performer, but Valverde will also be pleased with the performance of de Jong who is starting to look like a natural fit in the centre of the Barca midfield. Valencia had chances, but they have some real problems at the moment.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Barcelona 5 (92 mins - Maxi Gomez) Valencia 2. It's a second consolation goal for Valencia. Cheryshev played a low cross into the box and Gomez was on hand to finish into the back of the net. It won't mean anything in the grand scheme of things, though. Barcelona are cantering to a win.

Just two minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the match.

Over the bar! The ball fell nicely to Wass, but he lashes his strike well over the crossbar. Valencia look like a group of players feeling sorry for themselves. It's been a tough week.

Barcelona have Borussia Dortmund in the first game of the Champions League next week, while Valencia have Chelsea. Tough games for both teams. Now conserving energy for those matches.

Valencia have thrown in the towel here. They managed to push their way back into this match at the end of the first half, but there's a real air of resignation to their body language now.

There has been a lot of criticism written and said about Suarez in recent weeks. Some have written him off, so this has been quite the response from the 32-year-old striker.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Barcelona 5 (82 mins - Luis Suarez) Valencia 1. It's another smart finish from Suarez! This time it comes from the clearance Wass made off the line from Rakitic. The ball broke to Suarez and he found the net at the near post. That's the second time that he has done Cillessen like that since coming on!

Off the line! Rakitic had one shot blocked from a tight angle, but then managed to clip a shot over Cillessen. Wass was back on the line to make the clearance from under his own crossbar!

On the whole, this has been a very impressive performance from Barcelona. They allowed Valencia back into the match in the first half, but they have been the better team by quite some distance.

He's okay. Lenglet is back on his feet and looks like he will be fine to continue. Meanwhile, Gomez escapes with just a booking. Modric was sent off for something like that on opening weekend.

Lenglet is still down on the ground after that tackle by Gomez. That was a really nasty one from the Valencia striker. He might have done some real damage to the Barca centre back.

That's a booking for Gomez. He caught Lenglet very late there. He can have no complaints.

Griezmann has actually been quiet this evening. The Frenchman's shot led to Pique's goal, the goal that all but killed the match, but other than that Griezmann hasn't been at his most influential.
