This 3-0 win is enough to take Barcelona top of La Liga at least until Real Madrid face Real Mallorca later this evening. The Catalans were comfortable for the majority of the match with Griezmann, Messi and Suarez all finding the net for the away team. Valverde must be satisfied with that performance.

Valverde will be pleased with how his Barcelona team have played in this second half. The first half was a bit open, a bit chaotic, but they have been the better team on the whole.

Eibar haven't been able to trouble Barcelona in this second half, but they have managed to collect yellow cards with ease.

There will be three minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.

Another yellow card and this time it's for Inui who was late on Vidal.

Suarez shoots wide! That was another chance for Barcelona, with Messi setting up Suarez for the shot on goal. The striker caught the ball well, but sent his effort across goal and wide.

Up and over! Messi took the freekick on the edge of the Eibar penalty box, but the Argentine got that one wrong, putting it high and wide of the target. A rare mishit from the great man.

The match in the first half was far too open for Barcelona's liking, but the second half has been much more like it. They have managed to nullify Eibar while scoring two themselves.

Charles looks to have picked up an injury and Kike comes on in his place.

One last change for Barcelona and it's Rakitic who will get the final 10 minutes.

Ter Stegen has barely been tested this afternoon. It takes a lot to beat the German and Eibar haven't even come close to getting something past him. Toothless in the final third.

Barcelona are in Champions League action next week, but it's yet unknown whether they will have the first Clasico of the season next weekend. That is very much still up in the air.

Valverde will reflect on a much more controlled performance from his team in this second half. De Jong has been impressive for Barcelona. Semedo also made a difference.

There is a feeling that Barcelona could add a couple more to the score sheet before this one is out. Eibar are resigned to their fate. Their cause is looking like a lost one with just 15 minutes left.
