Messi goes down inside the penalty box, but there wasn't enough in that to award the spot kick. The Barcelona number 10 felt a shove in his back as he tried to control a ball.

This has been a very open game so far. You wouldn't say this has been a typical Barcelona display. They have been quite happy for Eibar to have just as much of the ball.

Of course, Messi missed the first month of the season through injury and that is still showing in his performances. The Argentine is just a yard or two slower than his best.

Dmitrovic stops Messi! We were all waiting for Messi to stick the ball in the back of the net. He looked to have rounded the Eibar goalkeeper, but Dmitrovic managed to claw the ball away from his feet right at the last moment.

This front three does seem to be working for Barcelona with Griezmann on the left, Messi on the right and Suarez through the middle. It helps that they are being given lots of space.

Messi has been kept rather quiet in the opening 30 minutes of this match. There was a glimpse of his brilliance there as he prodded through a pass for Griezmann, but it came to nothing.

Eibar need to show better decision making in the final third. Orellana has once or twice chosen the wrong option when the opportunity was there to really expose Barcelona at the back.

Very quickly after the first booking of the match there is a second as Charles is shown a yellow for protesting the first.

Diop becomes the first player to enter the referee's book. Eibar aren't happy with that one.

There is a lot of space in behind the Eibar defence for Barcelona to expose. Griezmann managed it for the goal, but just imagine how much damage Ansu could cause off the bench.

Orellana wants a yellow card for Umtiti. He is making the case that the Barcelona defender has fouled him three times. He might have a case, actually. Surely Umtiti is on thin ice.

Eibar have responded well to going a goal behind. They will feel slightly aggrieved that they are behind at all given how well they have played in the opening 20 minutes of this game.

You could argue that Barcelona's goal came against the run of play, but that's the danger you face against the Catalans. They have the individual quality to make you pay at any time.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Eibar 0 Barcelona 1 (14 mins - Antoine Griezmann). Barcelona have taken the lead! Griezmann had barely touched the ball until now, but he has found the back of the net! The Frenchman was played over the top and he made no mistake in finishing off the inside of the near post.

Leon shot! That was a good move from Eibar. Angel cut back the pass to the edge of the box where Leon was making his run, but his left-footed strike flashes over the crossbar. That was a chance.

This has been a solid start to the match from Eibar. They are seeing more and more of the ball and they are doing more with it as well. This is turning into a bit of a test for Barcelona.
