MALLORCA TEAM ANALYSIS
As for the visitors, it's all hands on deck defensively. Javier Aguirre sets up in a 5-3-2 shape here, one that could well become a 5-4-1 if Kang In Lee moves back into the middle of the park. Predraj Rajkovic is between the sticks, protected by a back three of Martin Valjent, Antonio Raillo and former Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic. Outside of them, Pablo Maffeo - also ex-Manchester City - and Jaume Costa are the wing-backs, and they will be the sole options when looking wider for the visitors. In the engine room, Rodrigo Battaglia is the glue to keep it all together, and he has Dani Rodriguez and Ruiz de Galarreta either side of him to add energy and dynamism to disrupt the Real Madrid rhythm. Lee has a free role alongside - or tucked just behind - Vedat Muriqi, with the Kosovan target man the visitors' real goal threat. Expect plenty of direct balls in his direction in the early exchanges.

MADRID TEAM ANALYSIS
Let's dissect Carlo Ancelotti's team selection, shall we?
It's the standardised 4-3-3 we've come to associate with Los Blancos, and Thibaut Courtois is, of course, in net. He's shielded by a central defensive pairing of Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba, with the former Chelsea man replacing Eder Militao in the heart of defence. Lucas Vazquez is the surprise inclusion at right-back, with Dani Carvajal and Nacho benched, whilst Ferland Mendy, as expected, completes the back four. Federico Valverde and Dani Ceballos flank Toni Kroos in the engine room, as Ancelotti shuffles his pack from a hard-fought victory at Celtic Park last time out. Luka Modric and Aurelien Tchouameni are substitutes; as too is wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga. In the attacking trident, Eden Hazard is rewarded for his fine performance from the bench in Europe as he starts as the false nine, and Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo complete the line-up.
