Great chance for Palace! Great darting run by Palace tears a gap in the Newcastle defence, he releases Jerome who tries a 1-2 with Bannan - but the shot is wide to the left.

Jedinak's brainless use of the ball at that free kick says it all about Palace today: no link between defence and midfield, all they're trying to do is launch it up to Chamakh!
