Hello and welcome to our LIVE commentary of this titanic battle between old foes Arsenal and Manchester United from the Emirates Stadium. Can Arsenal get over their Champions League heartache? Will Louis van Gaal’s men continue their improvement to return to the top of the Premier League?

FT: Arsenal 3-0 Manchester United. All over after 19 minutes. Superb display from Arsenal full of energy and vigour. United could not cope with Alexis Sanchez on the break and the Chilean's double and one from Mesut Ozil was enough to see the Gunners leapfrog United to sit second, just two points behind leaders Manchester City. What crisis?

WOODWORK! Oxlade-Chamberlain hits the crossbar after being put through. Was a delightful chip, but just got a little bit too much on it.

United back in possession, with Fellaini dropping deep, but they cannot get the ball into Martial quick enough.

Arsenal want more. United look done. Cazorla getting back on the ball and picking his passes again.

CHANCE! Should have been four! Giroud holds back, is picked out ten yards out, with the goal gaping, but he tamely fires straight at De Gea.

Valencia runs on to the loose ball and drills at goal, but Gabriel gets his foot to it to divert the ball away from goal.

James Wilson gets his first action of the season for United, coming on in place of Mata.

Sanchez seems to be nursing an injury and Wengr takes no risks, immediately replacing him with Kieran Gibbs.

Martial gets around the side of Mertesacker, but Gabriel is there to cover for his partner and clears the danger.

Mata has a speculative effort from distance but it is easilly blocked on the edge of the box. United look deflated now.

Double change from Arsene Wenger. Walcott and the fantastic Ozil are replaced by Olivier Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Both left to rapturous applause.

CHANCE! Good work from Monreal picks out Ozil in space on the edge of the box, but his powerful strike is straight at De Gea.

A United goal now would really made the end of this exciting. Seems like it is coming?

With Fellaini lurking with intent, Cech is at full stretch to catch a high cross. All United at the moment.

SAVE! Cech again to the rescue. Schweinsteiger's touch lets him down when played in, but the Arsenal stopper was out quickly to save at the feet of the German midfielder.
