Better from United. Both Young and Darmian getting forward and stretching the Gunners. No real threat yet.

Ashley Young just kicks it straight out of play. United look exasperated. They cannot find any rhythm at all. Possession is key for them now.
14'
We just can't work it out?
13'
Not over yet!

Ozil is controlling this. Has been the figure of much ridicule, but his superb passing and vision is on show this afternoon.

What a transformation from the Gunners. So clinical in attack. United cannot handle their direct play. Crowd are stunned!

Phew! What a start. Ozil's cross for the first looked to be past Sanchez, but with a Cruyff-style finish, Sanchez brilliantly improvised to open the scoring. Walcott's pass for the second was equally as good, and Ozil showed perfect composure to side-foot home. United have to settle, quickly. Pace is too much for them.

GOAL! Arsenal 2-0 Manchester United. What is going on? Theo Walcott cuts the ball back for Mesut Ozil to steer home and double the Gunners' lead in under seven minutes! United all at sea.

GOAL! Arsenal 1-0 Manchester United. What a start for the Gunners. A superb finish from Alexis Sanchez at the near post sends the home fans into raptures. United all over the place!

United just cannot get hold of it. Martial very isolated up front. Rooney is yet to touch the ball!

Michael Carrick has to come to United's rescue with a timely interception. All Arsenal in the early stages.

Referee Anthony Taylor pulls the play back for a free-kick to Arsenal in a dangerous position. United looking a little ragged at the back, with Matteo Darmian caught out. David de Gea punches Santi Cazorla's set-piece clear.

United kick us off. They are starting with a very high line, and look raring to go!
16:00
Surprising!

The teams are on the pitch, and we are about to get under way.
15:58
Theo Walcott has netted 12 goals in his last 13 Premier League starts for the Gunners. He could be the man to watch after impressing in the win at Leicester.
15:57
Wayne Rooney has netted 11 times in 25 Premier League games against Arsenal. The only sides he’s scored more goals against in the competition are Newcastle (12) and Aston Villa (13).
Rooney scored his first ever Premier League goal (Oct 2002), his first Premier League goal for Man Utd (Oct 2004) and his 100th Premier League goal (Jan 2010) against the Gunners. Today would be a great time for him to find his form again!
15:56
Arsenal have been rather more inconsistent and suffered their second Champions League defeat in as many games on Tuesday as Olympiakos secured a shock 3-2 win at the Emirates.
However, in their last league outing, Alexis Sanchez inspired the Gunners to produce their very best at Leicester in a 5-2 win. Which team will turn up this afternoon?
15:50
United come into this looking for their fifth consecutive win since their defeat at PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League. Anthony Martial has been key to that improvement. The world's most expensive teenager has looked anything but daunted by the fee shelled out to secure his services, and could cause Arsenal real problems today.
But it could have been the other way around...
15:50
Never, ever, ask Arsene Wenger about his goalkeepers...
15:49
The United boss is pleased with the set-up he has established at M16.
