The full-time whistle goes and Southampton celebrate a win that they just about deserve on the balance of play. Mane's late red card is a setback for the Saints, but three points today sends them above the Potters in the table and keeps their hopes of European qualification alive.

There is an air of expectation around the Britannia as the clock ticks closer and closer to full-time. Stoke are camped in the Southampton half, but chances are in short supply.

Southampton are retreating deeper and deeper into their own half. It's back-to-the-walls stuff, which was hard to see coming at half-time.
