Spurs are without holding midfielder Dier (plus fellow midfielders Bentaleb and Mason) and star summer signing Son is also out, so there are starts for Chadli on the left and Dembele in midfield.

The big team news is that Liverpool are without their top three strikers, so Origi starts in attack for the first time this season. It's a solid looking line-up that Klopp has named for his first game, with a lot of the creative responsibility falling on the shoulders of Coutinho and Lallana.

You may not have heard, but Jurgen Klopp is the new Liverpool manager. One of the best managers in the world is now at Anfield, but first up is a tough away game against a Tottenham side who haven't lost since the opening weekend of the season. Klopp may well be a brilliant appointment for Liverpool in time, but there is no magic bullet and it will be fascinating to see how much of an impact he's already been able to have.
