Hello and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the Premier League clash between West Ham and Arsenal at Upton Park. The Gunners are 11 points behind leaders Leicester City and know anything other than a victory will all-but end their slim title hopes. However, a win would move Arsene Wenger's men eight points behind the Foxes with six matches apiece still to play meaning they would still be within striking distance should the East Midlanders suffer a wobble. As for West Ham, they are locked in what looks like a three-way battle for fourth spot and will move level with the current occupants of the final Champions League berth, Manchester City (who play in the evening kick off at home to West Brom) if they can take the three points here. Kick off 12.45pm BST.

This was Carroll's second ever Premier League hat-trick. On 22 August 2010 he scored three for Newcastle in a 6-0 win against Aston Villa (via Infostrada).

Is this display food for thought for Roy Hodgson?

What a turnaround at Upton Park! Arsenal's title hopes looking bleak at this point. What can they do to wrestle this back in their favour?

GOAL!!!! Carroll hat-trick! Antonio surges beyond Monreal on the right and hangs a cross up to the back post for Carroll to arrive and power another header into the net.

West Ham have ANOTHER goal ruled out!!! Carroll powers into the area and battles away with Koscielny. The forward seems to hold the Arsenal defender as he touched the ball away from Ospina, allowing Payet to fire into the net. Looks like the right call this time.

A brief delay as Gabriel is treated after coming off worse in an aerial challenge with Carroll.

KICK OFF! Arsenal get the second half underway. Can they lift themselves after having the stuffing knocked out of them at the end of the first 45?

HT: West Ham 2-2 Arsenal. What a turnaround at the end of the first 45. Arsenal looked in cruise control after surviving the scare of an offside goal that should have been given to move two ahead courtesy of Ozil and Sanchez. But West Ham hit back with two goals in three minutes from Carroll at the end of the half. All to play for in the second period. This is anyone's match from here.

GOAL!!!!! West Ham are level! Incredible scenes at Upton Park as Carroll scissors kicks a deflected volley into the corner at the second time of asking after Arsenal had failed to fully clear a Payet corner.

SAVE! Arsenal so close to restoring their two-goal lead but Adrian makes a smart stop to deny Monreal.

That was Carroll's fifth goal of the season and gives the Hammers real hope going in at the interval.

GOAL!!!! West Ham HAVE pulled one back. Cresswell curves a delicious cross into the middle for Carroll who thumps a header into the bottom corner. Game on!

A goal for West Ham just before HT would change the complexion of this match. An important couple of minutes ahead.

Carroll meets Cresswell's cross with a downward header but it's easy enough for Ospina.

STILL SOME HAMMERS HOPE? West Ham are one of five teams to win a Premier League match this season after trailing two goals. They achieved this at Everton on 5 March (2-3).

Welbeck burst into the area on the left but Antonio manages to stay with the run and win the shoulder battle to earn a goal kick. West Ham struggling defensively.
