Hello and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the Premier League clash between West Ham and Arsenal at Upton Park. The Gunners are 11 points behind leaders Leicester City and know anything other than a victory will all-but end their slim title hopes. However, a win would move Arsene Wenger's men eight points behind the Foxes with six matches apiece still to play meaning they would still be within striking distance should the East Midlanders suffer a wobble. As for West Ham, they are locked in what looks like a three-way battle for fourth spot and will move level with the current occupants of the final Champions League berth, Manchester City (who play in the evening kick off at home to West Brom) if they can take the three points here. Kick off 12.45pm BST.

Hats off to Iwobi. He's made some impact for Arsenal in recent weeks.

Arsenal giving some credibility to that title talk here. Still Leicester's to lose, mind you.

GOAL! The Gunners double their lead. A lovely move sees Iwobi flick a ball over the defence for Sanchez to race in and fire beyond Adrian.

Wait... make that 31....

Arsenal have now scored 30 away goals in the PL this season - more than any other side.

Monreal attacking on the left for Arsenal. The full back attempts the cross but sees it diverted out of play. Carroll twice nods clear before Tomkins flick it out for a throw-in. Decent spell for Arsenal after West Ham had threatened to gain some momentum.

Good spell for the Hammers. Payet enjoying more and more influence. The West Ham playmaker clips a left wing corner to the edge of the box where Lanzini cannons a volley well wide.

Great skill from Payet to earn that free kick initially. He completely bamboozled Sanchez who responded by hacking the Frenchman down.

Payet with another free-kick delivery but Carroll can't guide his header beyond a wall of Arsenal defenders.

HOPE FOR THE HAMMERS? West Ham have won 13 points after trailing this Premier League season. Only Tottenham Hotspur have done better after falling behind (19 points) this term.

Payet curves the free kick towards Carroll but Arsenal do enough to avert the danger.

Payet over it. That usually spells danger...

Free kick to West Ham 40 yards out...

In the build up to that goal Coquelin and Iwobi played vital roles.

Twitter in overdrive debating the West Ham goal that was ruled out...

Mesut Ozil has scored six times for Arsenal in the league this season, his best return in a Premier League season for the club.

West Ham feeling hard done by as Lanzini's goal looked onside. What could have been a 1-0 lead is now a 1-0 deficit within minutes. Fine margins...

GOAL!!!! Arsenal take the lead. Ozil fires a low left-foot shot into the corner after taking a lovely through pass in his stride. It's his eighth of the season.

Koscielny is given the freedom to push deep into West Ham territory unchallenged but his pass in-behind is just too strong for Monreal to latch onto on the overlap.
