Hello and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the Premier League clash between West Ham and Arsenal at Upton Park. The Gunners are 11 points behind leaders Leicester City and know anything other than a victory will all-but end their slim title hopes. However, a win would move Arsene Wenger's men eight points behind the Foxes with six matches apiece still to play meaning they would still be within striking distance should the East Midlanders suffer a wobble. As for West Ham, they are locked in what looks like a three-way battle for fourth spot and will move level with the current occupants of the final Champions League berth, Manchester City (who play in the evening kick off at home to West Brom) if they can take the three points here. Kick off 12.45pm BST.

Koscielny is given the freedom to push deep into West Ham territory unchallenged but his pass in-behind is just too strong for Monreal to latch onto on the overlap.

Sanchez engineers some space on the right but arcs his cross too close to Adrian.

STAT: After losing their opening two home league games this season, the Hammers have not lost any since (W7, D6).

West Ham have the ball in the net - but it's offside! Carroll meets Noble's exquisite outside of the foot cross from the left with an acrobatic effort that Lanzini nods home. It's a tight call and a reprieve for the Gunners.

Arsenal looking the more likely since that early scare.

Elneny arrives to meet a deep cross on the volley but Antonio diverts it away with a brave headed block.

Ogbonna is again on hand to clear as Iwobi's deep cross threatened to unlock the home defence.

DID YOU KNOW? The Hammers' 2-0 win at the Emirates in the opening game of the season is their only victory in their last 15 league meetings with Arsenal (D2, L12).

Arsenal take the left-wing corner short but Iwobi's lay-off to Ozil is a poor one and ironic cheers greet the award of a Hammers goal kick.

Ozil pulls free on the left and teases a low cross into the middle that is cut out at the near post by Angelo Ogbonna.

West Ham popping it around in their won half. Not much happening in the early stages following that fast-paced first 60 seconds or so.

Ozil's resulting free kick is aimed towards Sanchez but easily mopped up by the Hammers defence.

Play halted while Koscielny receives treatment. He's grimacing but should be okay to continue.

Strange decision from Andy Carroll who hacks away at Laurent Koscielny until he catches the Arsenal man. An early booking and a silly one at that.

Almost a perfect start of the home side. Cresswell is left unmarked on the far left of the area, allowing him time to meet a right-wing cross and lash a volley towards goal. Lanzini reacts to it and nods inches wide - but his blushes are spared by the flag for offside.
