Robertson manages to recover to concede the corner under pressure from Vardy. Drinkwater loses out following the short corner, and concedes a foul on Clucas.

Snodgrass tries a near-post curler with the free-kick that has Schmeichel scrambling, but the ball is wide.

Former Chesterfield midfielder Sam Clucas looks quite assured for Hull on his Premier League debut. Fuchs then gets the first yellow card of the Premier League season for a rash challenge on Hernandez.

Hernandez's long throw is towards Morgan, and King is unable to make anything of the second ball and Hull can clear.

Meyler sets up Robertson, but Drinkwater is sharp to cut out the ball into midfield. Leicester are starting to bite in midfield.

CHANCE: Drinkwater sees an effort drift just wide following another Leicester break from Mahrez and a drag back cross from the right touchline.

Gray runs at the Hull defence but his shot is deflected and Jakupovic scrambles across to prevent a corner.

Mahrez tries a stepover and cross from the right but the Algerian overhits the cross and the chance slips away.

Hernandez hurls in a throw, which is only half cleared by Livermore, and Drinkwater sees his volleyed effort float well wide.

But that was the first time we have seen the Leicester counter-attack - and Musa is far quicker a partner for Vardy than Okazaki.

Hernandez is caught offside, then at the other end, Vardy completely miskicks the first chance from Musa's pass, and Mahrez shoots wide from the second opportunity.

Diomande sets up Snodgrass but Fuchs does well to stay on his feet on the edge of the area and make the tackle.

Morgan hooks the ball out of play after a communication breakdown with Fuchs - that was a bit careless from the Leicester skipper.

Gray is unable to beat Elmohamady down the right and Hull have the throw.

Simpson cuts out a Snodgrass pass down the left, but then Drinkwater is unable to find Vardy with a Leicester trademark long ball.

Cheers as Drinkwater miscontrols and concedes a foul. The champions haven't settled at all.

Hull's makeshift starting eleven looking very comfortable here at the KCOM Stadium. The crowd are still restless and chanting about the owners though.

Davies is across to slide in on Vardy and concede a throw. Diomande half clears the throw from Fuchs, then Gray slashes the loose ball over the bar.

Fuchs makes a good tackle down the left to nick the ball off Snodgrass and plays the ball back to Schmeichel.

Hull are moving the ball around nicely, against a very high Leicester backline. There may be chances for Hull if they can find a bit of pace up front through Hernandez and Diomande.
