Half-time: Everton 1-1 Man City

Everton almost manufacture a counter, but Doucoure's ball for Sigurdsson is cut out. It was a nice idea though, and this is a decent game.

There'll be two added minutes.

Richarlison is booked for kicking the ball away. Seriously.

City have been quiet these last few minutes but here's Mahrez down the right, dinking a ball to the back post which Foden could hit, but instead he tries to take it down, slipping as Doucoure takes it away from him.

Richarlison and Laporte contest a long, high ball, and Laporte seems to take a bit of leg and a bit of hand. Richarlison, looking the other way, doesn't like being penalised, but it's fair enough.

What that goals shows is that Everton can cause City problems, if they can get enough of the ball to attack. And here's Doucoure, spinning to find Richarlison, but his first touch is just a little heavy and he can't get a shot away.

GOAL! Everton 1-1 Man City (Richarlison) Everton sustain the attack and Coleman dinks a fine cross to the far post, met on the volley by Digne, who punches a sidefooter past Ederson ... and onto the post. But Richarlison is prowling, and the ball hits the post then hits him, as he looks the other way, and that's a terrific finish.

Doucoure robs Foden and finds Richarlison who finds Digne, but his cross is headed away by Dias.

Cancelo flips a pass over to Foden, on the left side of the box, but he can't quite grow enough to get a proper head on it.

What do Everton do now? I'm sure they'd take 0-1 at 75 minutes; thing is, if you sit in eventually one comes in with your name on it. Other hand, if they try and chuck more men forward, they'll get annihilated on the counter.

GOAL! Everton 0-1 Man City (Foden) Eleven for the season! Mahrez swings in another nice cross, and this time Keane's header falls to Foden, who lashes a shot that flicks off Coleman and wrongfoots Pickford, who probably had the original effort covered (but you can never be sure). Either way, City lead and Foden is unbelievable.

City go to Mahrez again and he shimmies into the box, attacking Godfrey and shaking him off with a clever swish away from goal before curving a sensational cross to the back post, where Keane has to stretch every fibre of himself to flick away.

Bernardo finds Mahrez and the ball goes back and forth as City probe for an opening. Everton, though, keep their discipline and their nerve, holding their line and forcing the low-percentage pass.

Doucoure runs across Jesus, getting a lanky leg between man and all. Down goes the former, and out comes the card.

Everton have had a bit more of the ball these last few minutes. To no avail, but it's a start/.

It's a while since Everton mustered any kind of attack.

And here he is again, doing really well to intercept Mahrez's pass when he cuts across the face of the Everton box.

Davies is late on Jesus; it's not far off a yellow-card challenge, but the ref opts not to bother.

Godfrey charges forward and has a shy at Walker on the outside; it's a good contest and finishes roughly level, but when Godfrey checks he's got no one anywhere near him so has to go a long way back.

Sterling moves it out to Mahrez who, after the obligatory roll of studs over ball, feeds in Walker on the overlap. His cross is deflected behind by Godfrey, and the corner comes to nothing.
