Nice from City, Sterling finding Foden who finds Rodri, but when he tries to slide a return for Foden he puts way too much on it.

Everton need to find themselves an out-ball. Richarlison is way too deep.

Jesus lays back to Walker, who tosses a cross towards the back post ... and behind. Mina is replaced by Coleman.

Here's that chance! Davies dallies on the ball and Rodri nips in to rob, cushioning a fine pass through to Jesus. But just when he looks poised to score, Keane interjects, putting him under just enough pressure so that he lifts his finish over the top.

But it can't be taken right away as Mina is down. He doesn't look badly injured but the way Coleman is preparing himself, it looks like he'll be going off soon.

Now it's Keane isolated out wide, by Bernardo - and he performs a similar trick, magicking the ball away just when the defender reckons it's his. He cuts in towards goal and Keane has a little nibble, so he goes down ... but it was never enough for a penalty.

Everton will be relatively satisfied with how this is going. City have had loads of the ball but not created much - though a chance looks to be in the post - and they look capable of doing something on the break.

But here come City again, Jesus isolating Digne down the right and teasing him in before nicking the ball away on the outside just as yerman thinks he's made the tackle. He then makes for the box, looking up several times before crossing directly against Mina.

Sterling slows up Holgate then drags the ball down the outside of him, Holgate doing well to block the cross. The resultant corner comes to nowt.

Everton are struggling to get out here, their latest clearance going straight to Foden. But after the move breaks down, Doucoure lanks down the right and moves the ball infield before chasing to the box where he gets on the end of Digne's cross. But instead of lacing his volley he tries to plant it back across inside of his boot, giving Laporte the opportunity to block. n the sideline, Ancelotti is not necessarily enamoured of this decision.

Rodri and Walker move it about before finding Mahrez, whose driven cross is blocked by Godfrey.

Cancelo advances off the left and with no one remotely interested in challenging him, he steps infield to unload a shot that Doucoure shows his arse, before Pickford dives to shovel away.

Games kicking off at 8.15 is a right nonsense when there's no work or pub to have to come from. I wonder if half-time coming after the 9pm gambling ad watershed has anything to do with it.
