20:10
Here come the teams!
20:06
Feel like I know him now.
20:03
He really is an unbelievable talent and already a brilliant player - the skill at pace and calmness in front of goal are very special. I remember the first time I saw him play - it was for an England age-group team - and telling the little group I go to watch United with that, unfortuately, City had a gem. I've seen nothing since to change my mind.
20:01
Michael Owen is talking about Phil Foden, saying that he keeps the ball close to his body like it's part of him, just as Zidane did.
19:59
Gabriel Clarke tells Guardiola that Everton are playing four at the back with Digne in midfield - ha ha, that's why managers keep things to themselves. Guardiola, though, is more interested in grousing about his team's schedule - though neglects to mention their little break.
19:56
Richarlison had 15 touches against Fulham, and three of those were from kick-off. His team clearly didn't get him the service, but it doesn't sound like he put himself about properly.
19:53
And thanks Carlo for telling us; other managers make like it's some kind of state secret that we're not going to find out in 21 minutes' time.
19:51
But we'll come back to him because Carlo Ancelotti, wearing suit jacket and a jumper, is being interviewed. He says his team usually do well against the better teams and then, asked about Pickford, says he wasn't happy to miss games but he's in good shape. Ah, he's not playing a back five - Digne is playing in midfield, so my guess is it's a 4-2-3-1 with Doucoure and Davies in front of the back four, then Iwobi, Sigurdsson, Digne from right to left behind Richarlison.
19:50
We're now watching Joao Cancelo warming up, and what a player he's become - the best right-back in the league and by far.
19:46
John Stones is being interviewed on Amazon. Asked about how to cope with adversity, he says "Don't over-beat yourself up." So a few slaps are fine.
19:45
Revealing.
19:44
As for City, I'm not sure whether it'll be Foden or Mahrez in midfield - my guess is it'll be the latter, with the former pushing forward through the centre.
19:43
Looking more closely at that Everton side, I'm not sure whether it'll be Sigurdsson or Iwobi up front with Richarlison. The teamsheet suggests the former, but I'd be inclined towards the latter. The full-backs will have a lot of responsibility tonight - they always do, but especially in the absence of Rodriguez and Calvert-Lewin.
19:42
19:41
City, meanwhile, give John Stones a rest - Ruben Dias returns - while Walker replaces Zinchenko and Mahrez replaces Gundogan. De Bruyne and Aguero are on the bench.
19:37
Two principal things to notice about this Everton side: Dominic Calvert-Lewin is absent, injured - another large slice of luck for City when they need it least - and they're playing five at the back. Their last game - a 0-2 defeat at home to Fulham - was not at all good, so Carlo Ancelotti brings in Pickford, Mina, Keane and Iwobi for Olsen, Coleman, Gomes and Rodriguez. It is not easy to craft a narrative in which they take something from tonight.

Let's have some teams...
19:26
Well, things have changed a bit since this fixture was meant to be played. On 28 December, City were eighth in the table, six points behind Liverpool, who led, with a game in hand. Since that little mid-season break, they've won 13 straight in all competitions making for a run of 16 straight in total, and are more or less champions already, seven points clear of Man United with a game in hand. They've got hard games coming up and in very little time too, but let's be real: there's no one anywhere near good enough to catch them.
Everton, meanwhile, were third going into the new year, just three points off the top, but are seventh now, 16 away from tonight's opponents. This is mainly down to their home form, however they'll be playing like the away side tonight and have the players to cause City issues - if they can stay in the game for long enough.
