FOCUSED
Gerrard has the glare of a very focused man. Villa haven't much to play for on paper but the head coach will be desperate his side finish on a high. Burnley might just be happy with a point which would, of course, see them climb out of the bottom three ahead of Sunday's final game.

NERVY START FOR BURNLEY
Villa win a free-kick on the left flank but it's only half-cleared and first Buendia sees a shot blocked before he drills a teasing ball across the face of goal. Collins scrambles it behind for a corner.

FIVE MINUTES UNTIL KICK-OFF
The players make their way out onto the pitch and kick-off is now just moments away. Villa will want to sign off in style in front of their home supporters but for Burnley it's squeaky bum time.

WILL BURNLEY PLAY FOR A POINT?
Dion Dublin, who is on Sky Sports duty, believes the visitors have to go all out for victory.
"You have got to back yourselves," said the former Villa striker.
"You're at Villa Park, it is an evening game and I think they believe coming into this game that they will want three points, they will back themselves."

GERRARD HAS HIS SAY
“I’m not sure how Burnley are going to approach it, whether they’re going to come with the attitude of ‘it’s a must-win game’ or whether they’ll come with the attitude that a point might be enough for them," said the Villa boss.
“My focus is on us. We’ll be aggressive, we’re at home. We played at Burnley recently and we played extremely well and we won the game comfortably.
“We’ll definitely respect that Burnley are going to be the best version of themselves and it will definitely be a challenge."

JACKSON SPIRITED BY SPURS DEFEAT
Burnley were beaten 1-0 by Tottenham following a controversial Harry Kane penalty on Sunday but interim boss Mike Jackson will be spirited by his side's performance.
"You pick the bones out of it, as always, but there are things we know we could have done better on the day," he told the official Burnley website.
"But we still created chances on the day. We take the good out of what we did on the day but be a bit more wary in what we are doing as well."
