That's it, full time. A tired looking City beat an energetic Brighton. They should have seen Kyle Walker sent off in the first half, but Brighton just couldn't force sufficient errors regardless. The quadruple is still on.

Two crosses are cleared, and now Gundogan picks out Jesus, who loops a pass for Sterling to meet with a first-time volley, but Ryan is well-placed to stop it. That could have settled it, and was a precise counter-attack from City's forwards.

Ederson and Otamendi are playing in their own penalty area with Brighton bearing down, but they are well able to play themselves out of the looming threat.

Mendy, who has had his problems with fitness, is taken off for Stones.

Mendy's whipped cross into the box is headed behind by Dunk for a corner on the right wing. Gundogan takes, and it's headed out by Bernardo for Bissouma to attempt to clear. It's blocked on the right wing, but they keep the throw-in.
