For as long as Brighton are just a goal behind, City are just one eff up from being forced into more minutes than they'd wish.

Here's the Beeb's man chucking some insight all over the place.

Propper sends a long ball for Jahanbakhsh to chase, and the winger slides in on Walker. The two players come together, both clash heads with some aggro, and I am on my sofa chanting OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF.

Dunk heads away De Bruyne's cross. Otamendi has a chance to send in a ball from the left, and Gundogan has a shot blasted into the legs of a crowd of players, and then De Bruyne is penalised for a phantom trip on Jahanbakhsh.

Stephens hacks Silva once, and then twice to make sure he gets his money's worth. 25 yards out, a free kick for De Bruyne.

Brighton are far more assured now, able to keep the ball well enough to attack down the wings occasionally.

Sterling picks out the previously bald David Silva, and he fires in a low cross at the near post for Ryan to stop safely.

David Propper has a sight of goal from 25 yards out, and his low effort is dragged a couple of yards wide of the far post.

Otamendi blocks Knockaert's cross from the left, and that's a corner for Brighton, who are coming back into this.

Stephens plays it calmly to the Brighton defence, and they are pressed back to Ryan, who hoofs it to the halfway line.

Jahanbakhsh's cross is cleared as Brighton make a rare attack. Bernardo's cross for Brighton is claimed by Ederson easily.

Knockaert dispossess Mendy, but his cross inside is too low and straight to a City player.

Knockaert wins the ball and counters down the middle, but he overruns he chance and he's tackled. Knockaert is sure he was barged over by Gundogan, but it seemed a bit of a dive.
