Sterling is found with his run to the byline, but his cross to the near post and low and easily stabbed away.

De Bruyne takes the corner on the right wing. It's headed on at the near post, out to Mendy, but his cross is cleared.

City have a very strong team out, but there's a rare appearance for Benjamin Mendy, and you could argue Bernardo is not always first choice. The bench, as usual, is ridiculous.

For Brighton they appear to have a slightly weakened team, which is no surprise given they will want to be sure of Premier League survival before anything else.

An odd one for City, this. Last night they fell behind to Liverpool at the top of the league. While they have a game in hand, they also have to deal with the ability to focus on this, the less important game, while trying to get back to the top of the league, succeeding in the Champions League, and also maintaining their chase for the quadruple.
