Moses swings a cross into the French box from the right side but it drifts out the other side and away for a goal kick. Replays show that Evra had his arms all over Odemwingie. The left back was lucky to get away with that!

Matuidi and Pogba are taking it in turns to press high up the pitch and harry Nigeria into making mistakes. Both players are physically intimidating, but Nigeria are doing well to cope with them so far.

Both sides are getting into god positions to get forward, but they're taking too long with their passes and cancelling each other out at this moment.

Pogba tries to pick his way through the Nigerian backline camped on the edge of their own box, threading through a pass to Valbuena on the shoulder of the last defender, but the flag is up.

Evra plays a bouncing cross into the penalty are, with the ball popping out the other side of the box, but Debuchy gets a little too excited and he slashes his effort well over the bar. No composure.

In a way, I don't think France were expecting Nigeria to be as adventurous as they have been in this first half. They're showing real ambition when they come forward, hitting hard and fast on the counter attack.

France's midfield trio are seeing lots of the ball, and everything they do in an attacking sense is coming from those three players. But Valbuena has been quiet so far, and we all know how good he can be.

Mikel is playing well at the moment. He's providing himself as an option for the pass at every possible chance, and what's more is that his own passing has been rather impressive.

With Giroud playing as the central striker, it looks as though Benzema has been shifted out to the left side. He doesn't look too happy out there, and isn't having much of an effefct on the game.

Keshi is on the touchline giving instructions to his team. He seems to be telling them to talk more often on the pitch.

France look a bit rattled at the back, with Nigeria giving as much as they've got when they come forward on the counter attack. Varane and Koscielny have held firm so far, but can the full-backs cope?

Brave goalkeeping by Lloris, who comes off his line to claim a high ball under pressure from his own defender and an attempted overhead kick by Odemwingie. He's been excellent at this World Cup.

Cabaye is upset that he hasn't been awarded a freekick for a hit to the face, but Moses carries on and tries to find Odemwingie at the back post. But Debuchy gets in the way to cut it out.

Huge save by Enyeama! Pogba drives with strength and power from the centre of midfield, before playing it out to Valbuena on the right side. Pogba receives the return pass, which he volleys towardsw goal but the Nigeria keeper pulls off a great stop.

France enjoyed something of an easy ride in their first three group games, but this is definitely a step up in quality for them. Nigeria have impressed in the opening 20 minutes and were unfortunate not to take the lead there.

Nigeria have the ball in the net, with Emenike turning the ball home at the near post! But the flag is up and it has been chalked off for offside. Replays show that it was cose, but probably the right call in the end.

Just for reference, Onazi is back on the pitch after receiving treatment on his leg injury. Nigeria back up to their full compliments of 11 players.

After much deliberation it's Emenike who runs up to the ball and strikes towards the goal, but his effort sails over the bar. The idea was obvious and the execution was poor. Should he have left it to Mikel?
