SOME BIG NAMES ARE ON THEIR WAY HOME
Both Belgium and Germany were knocked out on Thursday in a dramatic penultimate day of group stage action.
Belgium were held to a goalless draw with Croatia and finished third in the group, with Germany also finishing third, despite beating Costa Rica in a six-goal thriller.

THE ACTION ELSEWHERE
Group leaders and already-qualified Portugal take on South Korea, who are well in with a chance of qualification if the likes of Son Heung-min turn up against Cristiano Ronaldo's side.
South Korea and Uruguay are in third and fourth place in Group H respectively, with a point apiece. Ghana are currently in the driving seat with three points, but all three sides will fancy their chances this afternoon.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED IN 2010?
Uruguay and Ghana were level at 1-1 as the quarter-final tie headed for extra time. As the clock whittled down, the sides still couldn't be separated as penalties edged closer.
Ghana were gifted a chance following a goalmouth scramble in the dying seconds as the ball fell to Dominic Adiyiah who headed toward goal, but Suarez saved the ball with his hands on the line.
Suarez was sent off and Asamoah Gyan fired the following penalty against the crossbar. Uruguay beat Ghana in a shoot-out and progressed to the semi-finals.

GOOD AFTERNOON
Hello and welcome to Eurosport’s LIVE digital coverage of Ghana v Uruguay.
This is an interesting one. It’s a repeat of the 2010 quarter-final clash that saw Luis Suarez’s goal line handball help Uruguay reach the semi-finals in South Africa as Ghana missed the consequent spot-kick.
This year, though, a place in the last 16 is up for grabs. Kick-off is at 15:00 GMT.
