Speaking on the BBC, Mo Farah has suggested that he'll change his focus to the marathaon:
“We’ll see. I have thought about it a little bit,” he said.
“I work hard and it takes six months away from my family, spending time up in mountains.
“Next year I will give the World Championships in London on the track a go and decide what I want to do.
“I want to see what I can do in the marathon. 2017 I will end on the track and then see what I can do in the marathon I will just take one day at a time.”

In the men's basketball bronze match, it's currently Spain 67-64 Australia with a quarter to play. The US take on Serbia later, but for now the focus is on third place.

The mountain biking is about to start in Rio. It's no rhythmic gymnastics, that's for sure. And it's gold for Russia! The fifth victory in a row for them.

There's a rhythmic gymnastic performance by the Spanish going on. They all look exactly the same. I have nothing constructive to add.

Kipchoge, and Kenya, have gold. He sprints to the finish with a smile on his face. It's outside the world and Olympic records, but it's in a very respectable 2:08:44. Lilesa has it in 2:09:51, and Rupp is third, with 2:10:05.
15:37
Again, not the Olympics, but it is FOOTBALL. Here's our live coverage of West Ham v Bournemouth. Payet is out with an injury.
15:27
Kipchoge and Lilesa opened up a gap between themselves and Rupp, in third. At that point, it was Kipchoge, with Lilesa in his slipstream. Kipchoge then gestured to Lilesa, essentially saying they could run alongside one another, but he wasn't going to continue to shield him. He then pulled away dramatically, putting yards and yards between them, and now has what looks a comfortable lead.
