AND THAT'S A WRAP!
Thanks for sticking with us tonight, not that you'd want to be anywhere else when those two or going toe-to-toe. We'll be back in the morning, when we've got four more quarter-finals for you, two in the women's draw and two in the men's. See you then!
NADAL DELIGHTED AT EPIC WIN
Here's what Rafa said on court after his win!
HENMAN - IT'S JUST INCREDIBLE
Tim Henman's in The Cube now. He says: "From the first game, Rafa was hitting the ball so hard and really looking to exploit any opportunities. He got the early break and I think that set the tone. He won nine of the first 11 games against one of his greatest rivals."

Catch up on the drama of that action-packed match with our full report here
NADAL - IT MEANS EVERYTHING TO ME
"This is the most important court of my tennis career. I felt the love of everyone here in Paris - it means everything to me"
NADAL - IT WAS AN AMAZING CHALLENGE
Nadal actually checks the clock in disbelief when Bartoli tells him how long the match was. "It was a very tough match. Playing against him is always an amazing challenge, with all the history we have together. To win against Novak - there is only one way; to play at your best from the first point to the last"
NADAL - IT WAS INCREDIBLE
Rafa tells Marion Bartoli: "I am very emotional. It was an incredible game. Thank, thank and thank you"
DELIGHT FOR THE CROWD
It's not my line, because they said it on commentary, but this match started in May and ended in June. It was 4 hours 12 minutes long. It's well past 1am in Paris, but barely anybody left - because they couldn't take their eyes off it
WHAT THEATRE, WHAT DRAMA
That was simply sublime. Rafa gets revenge for his defeat to Novak in the semi-finals here 12-months ago. I remember watching that match and thinking it was one of the best I've ever witnessed - and this was right up there with it

DJOKOVIC 2-6 6-4 2-6 6-7 NADAL
Djokovic saves another match point with a rasping winner the finds the corner. That's three points in a row for the Serb, but another monster rally ends in Nadal arrowing a backhand down the line. Game, set and match - and what a match!
DJOKOVIC 2-6 6-4 2-6 6-6 (3-6*) NADAL
Nadal opens up a five point lead in the tie break as Djokovic tries a drop shot that rather limply lobs into the net. The crowd are going nuts. Five match points. The first is saved as Novak goes back in behind Rafa, while the Spaniard goes long on the second
DJOKOVIC 2-6 6-4 2-6 6-6 (1-5*) NADAL
Djokovic on the otherhand is misfiring. He tries to match Nadal with some meaty forehands of his own, but goes long to hand Rafa a second break. Commanding lead for the Spaniard at the change of ends
DJOKOVIC 2-6 6-4 2-6 6-6 (*0-3) NADAL
The Nadal forehand is ON FIRE! He goes into beast mode to take a mini break and open up an early lead in the tie break
DJOKOVIC 2-6 6-4 2-6 6-6 NADAL
So, déjà vu - for a third time Rafa serves to stay in the set. A glorious forehand down the line wrong-foots Novak to give the Spaniard the first point, and it's followed by two unforced errors from Djokovic. Three game points, but Nadal only needs one, fizzing down an unreturned serve. Tie break time
DJOKOVIC 2-6 6-4 2-6 6-5 NADAL
Another sumptuous volley from Djokovic extinguishes a fizzing Nadal backhand and takes him to 40-15. Rafa then cracks well wide of the tram line on the next point and it's game Novak
"RAFA, RAFA, RAFA"
The Roland-Garros crowd could not be more partisan, and believe me when I say Djokovic has given them a few of his icy stares
DJOKOVIC 2-6 6-4 2-6 5-5 NADAL
So, Nadal is serving to stay in the set for a second time, and it's as if his game has gone up another level. A beautiful one-two punch takes him to 30-0, his 53rd winner of the evening. He quickly holds to 15, sealed by two unforced Djokovic errors. Three games in a row for Rafa

DJOKOVIC 2-6 6-4 2-6 5-4 NADAL
Two HUGE Djokovic serves help him out at 0-15 and 15-30 following two Nadal winners. He finds a third to bring up set point, only to hook a backhand into the net. Rafa then saves another with a glorious passing shot, and the crowd belt out a ear piercing roar when the Spaniard finds himself at break point thanks to some big hitting of his own. Can he convert? Not on this occasion, but he gets a second chance and deliver this time. We're back on serve!
McENROE FRUSTRATED BY CROWD
"Rafa, Rafa, Rafa" the crowd chat as Djokovic prepares to serve for the set. They've annoyed John McEnroe thourhgout the evening
