DJOKOVIC 2-2 NORRIE
The opening point sets the tone for another nervy game for Norrie, but this time he plays the big moments well to clinch a hold to 30.
Djokovic raises his arm aloft as he finishes off with a deft volley after his tweener lob outdid Norrie’s excellent effort with the same shot. The Serb then wins a crosscourt backhand exchange to threaten at 15-30 but Norrie delivers a big backhand and some clutch serves to edge out of danger.
DJOKOVIC 2-1 NORRIE
Djokovic has settled. The Serbinator clouts away a pair of forehands and chalks up a couple of aces to easily claim his first hold of the match.

BREAK! – DJOKOVIC 1-1 NORRIE
Well, that didn’t last long.
Norrie pretty much breaks himself, lashing a mid-court forehand into the tramlines for 15-30 before failing to elevate his shots above the net in the next two points. It’s basic stuff but the butterflies are clearly still fluttering for the Brit.

BREAK! – DJOKOVIC 0-1 NORRIE
What. A. Start! Norrie takes advantage of what is almost a donation from Djokovic to instantly break.
The Serb hits two tame backhands into the net and a nervy forehand long to cough up two break points. Each error is greeted by a massive cheer.
The top seed saves one but is then outfoxed by Norrie at the net and the British No.1 glides a volley into the open court to bolster his belief early doors.

READY...?
PLAY!
Djokovic will serve first.
WILL THE BROMANCE TAKE CENTRE STAGE OR CAN CAM UPSET THE ODDS?
We will find out very soon as Norrie and Djokovic run through the pre-match routines.
HERE THEY COME!
Djokovic kept Norrie waiting within the inner sanctum of Wimbledon's Centre Court. The Brit had plenty of time to collect his thoughts and perhaps ponder the magnitude of the task ahead.
The Serb eventually arrived and the long walk to the entrance is over...
Huge cheers greet the players as they finally take centre stage.
MEN'S WHEELCHAIR SEMI-FINAL UPDATE
GB's Alfie Hewitt is battling hard over on Court 1.
ALMOST SHOW TIME!
Today's Centre Court schedule was adjusted following Nadal's withdrawal.
It means Norrie and Djokovic were moved to second in the running order.
First up was a doubles clash and that is now over after No.2 seeds Krejcikova/Siniakova beat No.4 seeds Ostapenko/Kichenok by a 6-2 6-2 scoreline to advance to the final of ladies' doubles.

'You have to favour Novak Djokovic' - Schett previews semi-final clash with Norrie

TENNIS LEGEND AND EUROSPORT EXPERT NOT RULING NORRIE OUT
"I think he can do it if he gives the 15,000 fans a reason to cheer and have another Pimm’s, and there is a chance that he can keep Novak - the big favourite - out there.”

ATP'S KYRGIOS STATS
The unseeded world No.40, Kyrgios has reached his first Grand Slam.
  • It is the second walkover in a Grand Slam men's semi final or final during the Open Era (Courier vs Krajicek at the 1992 Australian Open was the first).
  • The last W/O in a Wimbledon men's semi final or final was way, way back in the 1931 final.

IS DJOKER ON GRASS AS TOUGH AS RAFA ON CLAY?
Probably not. But it is still undoubtedly one of the sport's more difficult tasks - and Cam Norrie agrees.
"It's going to be a tough one with his record here at Wimbledon. Obviously, grass is his favourite surface. I would say, one of the tougher tasks in tennis."

'DIFFERENT PLAYERS, DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES'
Kyrgios was quick to post a social media message to Nadal after hearing that the Spaniard would not be able to feature in a 10th H2H meeting between the two players.
(For the record: Nadal leads the match-up 6-3 with it tied at 1-1 at Wimbledon).
THE DEBATE: SHOULD FRITZ HAVE BEEN GIVEN NADAL'S LAST-FOUR SPOT?
Several tennis journalists and former players took to social media last night to offer their views on whether Taylor Fritz - the man an injured Nadal edged out in five sets in the quarter final - should have been reinstated as a lucky loser and given a shot at facing Kyrgios today.
The American himself wasn't interested, but the discussion certainly split a lot of the tennis community.

HEAD-TO-HEAD
This is just the second meeting between the two players with Djokovic romping to a 6-2 6-1 round-robin triumph over the Brit on an indoor hard court at last year’s ATP finals in Turin.

MORE ON NADAL'S WITHDRAWAL
“It’s a pity, yes, but honestly, it was expected," Alex Corretja said of Rafael Nadal having to withdraw ahead of his Wimbledon semi-final with Nick Kyrgios.
"I know that he fought so hard to beat Taylor Fritz, but today he tried and he realised that he had no chance to compete at the highest level, to beat Kyrgios and most likely Djokovic or Norrie in the final."

GOOD AFTERNOON
Hello and welcome to our LIVE updates of men’s singles semi-final day at Wimbledon 2022. Sadly, we have just the one match today following Rafael Nadal’s unfortunate withdrawal as a result of an abdominal injury.
It means Nick Kyrgios has been given a walkover into the final, but who will he face on Sunday afternoon?
Will it be six-time champion and red-hot favourite Novak Djokovic? Or can British No.1 and No.9 seed Cameron Norrie pull off the win of his life?
The players are due on court at 14.30 BST at the earliest.
