Bayern Munich are on track to make the last 16 of the Champions League. AEK Athens on the other hand are rock bottom of Group F with zero points from three fixtures. It wasn't vintage stuff from the German champions, but they got the job done and didn't face much of an issue in securing the three points.

This match was effectively finished as soon as the first goal was scored. The second one just made sure, but AEK Athens never really offered much going forward.

He was offside! Muller was watching all the way along the line and yet he still managed to stray offside when the pass was played through to him. He would have been through!

It has been better from Bayern Munich in the second half, they haven't really looked like conceding, but Kovac will need his side to step things up against higher calibre opponents.

The group will look pretty good for Bayern Munich after this result. This will put them on seven points from three games, which will put them in a good position to make the last 16.

This has become a stroll for Bayern Munich. They are just keeping hold of the ball in the centre of the pitch, knockin it around with ease. AEK Athens aren't even pressing that high.

Muller has struggled for form since Guardiola left Bayern Munich. But he can still provide a threat and he has 10 minutes to add his name to the scoresheet in this match.

Gnabry was Bayern Munich's best player in the first half. When the Bavarians were struggling to find their groove, it was the former Arsenal winger who provided a threat.

And a change for the home side as well with Brazilian Alef coming on.

Kovac looks a relaxed man on the touchline. He must have been nervous midway through this second half. It didn't look like the opener was coming for Bayern Munich.
