Will Kovac make a change to his team soon? They need something more in the attacking third of the pitch. He hasn't been in the best of form this season, but what about Muller?

Bayern Munich need to find a way to get James involved in this game. The Colombian has the ability to break open this game for the German champions, but he has been quiet so far.

AEK Athens will be quite happy with the way things have gone so far, although it must be noted that they haven't offered much in attack. Are they playing for a draw? Looks a bit like it.

Some of the AEK Athens fans let off smoke bombs at the start of the second half and it is making it very difficult to see what is happening on the pitch from the height of the stands.

Gnabry has probably been Bayern Munich's best player so far. The German champions have been underwhelming, especially in the attacking third, but the former Arsenal winger has been the exception.

So will we see a more creative Bayern Munich side in this second half? They dominated possession over the opening 45 minutes, but struggled to create much in the final third.

HALF TIME: AEK Athens 0-0 Bayern Munich. No goals in the first half, and in truth there haven't been many opportunities for either side to break the deadlock. Bayern must step things up.

All of a sudden it's as if Bayern Munich have realised that they are just a few minutes from half time and have still to make the breakthrough. They have upped the tempo of their play.

Into the side netting! Lovely play from Gnabry! Bayern Munich moved the ball out to the winger, who feigned to shoot before turning the other way, but his powerful shot only finds the side netting!

AEK Athens have only looked vulnerable when they have sent players forward on the attack. When they have done that there has been more space for Bayern to exploit in behind.

That was a nice idea from Robben, who cut inside on to his left foot and then played a clever reverse ball into Kimmich. He was in at the byline, but the cross was eventually stopped.

Bayern had a two-on-one! Lewandowski decided to take on the AEK Athens defender himself when he had Robben alongside him! He would have been clean through had he made the pass.
