Spurs get it into Eriksen and Tagliafico dives in for no reason. He's booked.

Tagliafico and Neres are ganging up on Trippier. It's almost as if any old moron could see that happening.

And there's Sissoko warming up.

Spurs need to do something about this - I'm not sure what that is, given the players on the pitch. Perhaps he'll bring Sissoko on.

Spurs win a free-kick 45 yards out, a chance the way things are going. And Trippier humps nicely into the box for Llorente, who makes a decent connection with his header, but from a long way out, sends it wide.

This is lovely! Ziyech spreads it to Tagliafico,who moves into Van de Beek, just outside the box. He deploys a gorgeous overs, letiing it run then collecting a pass into his stride from Tadic. Left of centre, he should give Neres a tap-in, but instead shoots and the angle makes it an easy save for Lloris.

Veltman drags Rose down and they exchange light afters. The ref comes over, but they've already squashed it between themselves.

What's remarkable about this Ajax team is the game intelligence of all it's individuals. They all anticipate the movements of their team-mates and opponents so quickly and intelligently.

Spurs get themselves a good situation, Llorente looking to spread, but when he does, there's De Jong reading his mind. Lovely, lovely behaviour.

Ajax are playing with so much poise and confidence. Spurs ... are not.

Ziyech goes all the way over to Neres on the far corner of the box, and his shot is blocked.

Ziyech starts the move, pinging a pass from centre to left out to Neres, who cuts back onto the middle where Schone returns it to Ziyech, just outside the box. He's got so much time, so rolls a cigarillo then threads through to Van de Beek, in appalling space behind the Spurs back line; he feints, feints again, and then when Lloris goes down, he passes it past him!

Schone muscles Eriksen out of one and shoots quickly - the effort's deflected and balloons up to Neres, who's offside.

Victor Wanyama seems to be growing his forehead like Sadio Mane's.

Spurs are struggling to get and hold the ball. But Ajax have still to create anything good.

Tagliafico and De Jong combine to find Ziyech, who's shot is charged down, and the same fate befalls Schone immediately afterwards.
