GOAL! Manchester United 3-0 Bournemouth (Young) Wayne Rooney has had a really good game tonight, for all that means, and given time on the ball, he lifts a delicious pass over the top for Young, whose chest control is excellent. His shot is less so, straight at Federici, but there's enough on it to keep it trickling over the line.

Martial departs, replaced by Young - who, after his sterling turn in the position at Spurs, gpes to centre-forward.

Bournemouth are basically shuttling into formation backwards and forwards, and then Valencia crosses high towards Depay after guiding the ball into his own path very nicely indeed. Contact on the header is too fine, however - though the flag goes up in any case.

Another change for United: Depay comes on for Rashford. Oh, and one for Bournemouth too: Grabban replaces Wilson.

Herrera replaces Mata - who, given time, space and no physical attention, has been excellent.

GOAL! Manchester United 2-0 Bournemouth (Rashford) Marcus Rashford knows things. Rooney lifts a lovely ball over the top from centre to right, picking out Valencia. He dabs back for Rashford, who drills a sweep first time into the far corner. That was ridiculously instant composed, the difficult made to look easy.

Wilson gets himself in a race with Blind but false starts - he's offside by the time the anticipated flick-on arrives.

A through-ball from Rooney sends Rashford screeching into the box, but Federici is out quickly so that the only option is to round him and check. Nothing happens thereafter.

Memphis Depay is warming up, now that you ask.

Lingard appears to have broken into space in the box, but Daniels hurls himself into a superb saving tackle.

Mata throws himself and Wilson's back as he runs at Smalling and is booked. This surprises Andy Hinchcliffe, who thinks his reputation ought to have intervened.

Blind finds Borthwick-Jackson again, and this time he feints his cross, absolutely rinsing Francis before running into trouble.

Though, in fairness, they're probably not much arsed about having any, or one.

Bournemouth have barely had a kick these last 15 minutes.

Rooney dabs one into Mata, loitering between the lines, and he drags the ball away from Elphick, fooling everyone by teeing up his right foot. The low shot that eventuates is a good one too, forcing Federici into a smart save.

United win a corner that's cleared as far as Valencia, 30 yards out. He takes a touch and then fairly annihilates a dig that's headed for the far top corner - Federici has to extend every fibre to tip clear and is some discomfort subsequently.
