Eddie Howe (Bournemouth) to the BBC: "It is nice to be involved in a game that means something. The last few games have been difficult for us because we have not been a team that are used to not having that competitive edge. In the last few seasons there has always been something on every game and we have become very accustomed to it and embraced the pressure and relished it in some ways."

Louis van Gaal (Manchester United) on his side's slim chance of a top-four finish: "I think it is still possible but it is not in our own hands and that is the difference. We were 2-1 ahead with 15 minutes to play and then we gave it away [against West Ham]."

Bournemouth have the once-exciting Juan Iturbe on the bench, but apart from that it's a fairly standard line-up for them. Perhaps over the summer they'll invest heavily now their survival is secure.

Louis van Gaal has named an exceptionally slow side for the game against Bournemouth, a side who tore them apart in their first fixture this season.

Bournemouth have almost literally nothing to play for. Manchester United, however, have to win if they are to stand any chance of overtaking Manchester City in fourth place, who need to at least draw against Swansea City.
