Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of Manchester City's crucial trip to Burnley in the Premier League. Even at this stage of the season, this is a must-win encounter for City, having lost more ground on leaders Liverpool at the weekend. Burnley are not in good form, either, having lost four of the last six. Turf Moor, though, represents a daunting trip for anyone, and given City's recent jitters, it looks set to be a tough battle. I'm Pete Hall, and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, live!

FT: Burnley 1-4 Manchester City. As good a City performance as we have seen for some time. With Aguero absent through injury, Jesus stepped up, and some. Burnley had no answer to the champions, who were excellent all over the pitch. Lead just eight points now for one night at least. Thanks for joining us. Goodnight.

Jesus still looking for that first hat-trick and running the channels. Looks like he will miss out.

Out of nothing, really. The ball broke fortunately for Brady, who rifled home in space. Three minutes of added time here.

Great feet from Mahrez to work space for the shot before firing into the bottom corner. That is his 50th Premier League goal.

City are certainly back as they want more here. David Silva tries a flick from a corner that does not come off.

A booking shy of suspension, Sterling is saved for the weekend derby clash, with Riyad Mahrez on in his place.

Anything De Bruyne can do at the weekend, Rodri can match, it seems. The ball came to him on the edge of the box, on the bounce, with the Spaniard unleashing a ferocious strike past Pope before he could move. Incredible goal once more from City.

Burnley 0-3 Manchester City. WHAT. A. GOAL. A thunderbastard of a strike from Rodri makes it three.
