Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of Manchester City's crucial trip to Burnley in the Premier League. Even at this stage of the season, this is a must-win encounter for City, having lost more ground on leaders Liverpool at the weekend. Burnley are not in good form, either, having lost four of the last six. Turf Moor, though, represents a daunting trip for anyone, and given City's recent jitters, it looks set to be a tough battle. I'm Pete Hall, and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, live!

NO GOAL! Well-worked corner picks out Angelino, who lashes a volley for goal, Jesus gets a touch, the ball finds the net, but Jesus is adjudged to be offside. Replays show it was the correct call.

Ball ricochets in the direction of Gabriel Jesus, who races clear, Ben Mee does well to get back, but the flag is raised, belatedly, for offside.

One man whose form has not suffered is Kevin De Bruyne. He has been directly involved in more Premier League goals than any other Manchester City player this season (13 - 4 goals, 9 assists). The Belgian is looking to score in three consecutive Premier League games for the first time since October 2015. A big contribution is needed tonight! We are minutes away!

TROUBLES ON THE ROAD: City are winless in their last two Premier League away games (1-3 vs Liverpool and 2-2 vs Newcastle). Only once under Pep Guardiola have they gone three without a win on the road (February 2018), with the third game in this run coming at Burnley and including a loss at Liverpool.

HEAD TO HEAD: Burnley have won just one of their 10 Premier League meetings with Manchester City (D3 L6), beating them 1-0 at Turf Moor in March 2015.

BERNARDO IN, DRINKWATER STARTS: Having been below par for much of the contest at Newcastle at the weekend, Pep Guardiola has acted, and made four changes to the side who drew at St James'. Nicolas Otamendi comes in for John Stones while Rodri replaces the suspended Ilkay Gundogan. Bernardo Silva takes his place in the side instead of Riyad Mahrez, while Angelino gets the nod at full-back. The lesser spotted Danny Drinkwater makes his first Premier League start for Burnley and first Premier League start for 21 months. Aaron Lennon also comes in.
