The third payer through the door at Etihad Stadium this summer is winger Jeremey Doku, who has signed for Manchester City from Rennes in a deal worth €65 million. Doku is expected to replace Riyad Mahrez in the squad after the Algerian left to join Al-Ahli earlier in the window. 21-year-old Doku scored six goals in 29 Ligue 1 appearances last season and has represented Belgium 14 times.

Manchester City have completed the signing of Jeremy Doku from Rennes in a deal worth €65 million.
The 21-year-old winger joins on a five-year contract which will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2028.
He is expected to come in as a replacement for Riyad Mahrez, who joined Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli earlier in the window.
It is Man City’s third summer signing, following the arrivals of Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea and Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig.
Doku signed for Rennes from RSC Anderlecht in 2020 for €26m and went on to play for the French club 92 times.
In that time, the Belgian contributed 12 goals and 10 assists across all competitions.
At international level, Doku has played for Belgium 14 times and featured at both the 2020 European Championships and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
“This is a great day for me, both personally and professionally,” Doku said.
“Manchester City are the best team in world football, so to be joining them is something very special for me and my family.
“I am a young player with so much learning and improving to do. Working with Pep (Guardiola) and his staff, and playing alongside these world-class players, will make me a much better player. I feel sure of that.
“Watching City last season was amazing. To win the Treble is the hardest thing in football and they did it. You cannot imagine how exciting it is to be joining this team.
“I cannot wait to get started. Hopefully I can make the fans happy.”
