GOOD MORNING It's time for the final quarter-final match of the 2022 Australian Open. Will it be world No 2 Daniil Medvedev or ninth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime facing Stefanos Tsitsipas in the last four of the men's singles? This should be a good one.

Mats Wilander: “I really highlight the cross-court duel between the two backhands. Perhaps the best double-handed backhand in the game from Medvedev against Auger Aliassime who has a serious technical weakness, with the shot being way too close to the body. Medvedev is so consistent. Felix will have to serve from another planet.”

Tim Henman: "Auger-Aliassime is a fantastic young player but I look at Medvedev’s experience, the head-to-head record, and their playing styles, and I think he is going to come through this one."

This will be the fourth meeting between these two. Auger-Aliassime has only won one set in the previous three and was beaten 6-4 6-0 by Medvedev at the ATP Cup earlier this month.

It has not been plain sailing so far in Melbourne for Medvedev, who has been twice pushed to four sets. However, he looks like the man to beat. Auger-Aliassime had a straight-sets win over Dan Evans in the third round but has also had two four-setters and a five-setter, so has spent plenty of time on court.

There's also been British success this morning as Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid won their THIRD straight men's wheelchair doubles title.

If you're just waking up then good morning and thanks for joining me. You have missed Stefanos Tsitsipas reaching the semi-finals in very impressive fashion with a straight-sets win over Jannik Sinner.
