DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 6-4 3-3 FEDERER - Nole holds firm after a mid-game 'discussion' over a disputed point that would have seen Fed go 0-30 up. The questionable call went Novak's way and he eventually came good to 30 when Federer lashed long. The Swiss shakes his head at the conlusion of the game, still lamenting the decision.

In Twitterland there's a lot of love for Fed-Ex. @freakrecruiter claims: "It's Roger's day, he deserves this." @wil_enjoi says "Federer will dig deep and win it in five." @Emmiyke is being very precise, stating: "Federer will win in 4 sets... The final set will be 7-5." @Luca_Dgr: "I really hope Federer can get this title, it might have to be his last one, but for that he has to be careful with his errors."
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 6-4 2-3 FEDERER - Another love hold for Federer. An ace clinches it in a game that was pretty much over in seconds! The Swiss is rolling back the years here as we head into the changeover. Nole has called for new trainers!
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 6-4 2-2 FEDERER - Djoker follows up some big serves with some lovely stroke play, smashing down a dismissive overhead to keep it with serve. Who is going to blink first?
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 6-4 1-2 FEDERER - A love hold for Federer who really does have his serving mojo going on. Still too tough to call this one as we head towards the two-hour mark.

On Twitter: @JAFAREBELLASBOE says: "I pray for Federer to win, but he has to get the third set to have a chance." @Manoranjan328 agrees and predicts an epic: "Federer and it gonna be 5 set match."
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 6-4 1-1 FEDERER - Too good from the top seed who rattles down an ace on his way to a hold to 15.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 6-4 0-1 FEDERER - The Swiss Maestro gives Djokovic a bit of hope as he hits back from 40-0 down to come within a point of deuce after winning a magnificent rally with a stonking shot down the line. Federer shrugs off the disappointment to hit a big first serve and force the error into the net to get off on the right foot in this third set.

DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 6-4 FEDERER - Brilliant from Djokovic as he hits back to level at 1-1 despite a mid-game wobble. The Serbinator lets a 30-15 lead slip away as he tightens up and uncharacteristically blazes two very makeable shots wide to tee up a potential break. The top seed is furious with himself and responds by crashing down two big first serves before putting away an overhead at the second attempt. This one is finely poised now. Who would bet against a five-setter?
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 5-4 FEDERER - The perfect time to clinch a perfect game for Federer as he fizzes another ace down the middle T to stay within striking distance. Djoker will now look to serve this set out and level it up.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 5-3 FEDERER - At 30-0 Djokovic slips and looks down at the turf. It's the same area where he fell earlier but he doesn't let it affect him and draws another error from Fed-Ex before a high bouncing serve surprises the Swiss who can only hook way out of court.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 4-3 FEDERER - The Swiss marches through a routine service game, lashing down an ace to finish it off with aplomb. You get the feeling this could be the calm before the storm at the conclusion of this set. Are we building towards something special?
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 4-2 FEDERER - A comfortable hold for the 2011 champion this time around as he closes it out to 15. The last two games have flown by after a real war of attrition in the opening couple in this set. Djoker still on course to level at 1-1 if he keeps holding serve. Fed may have something to say about that though!
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 3-2 FEDERER - Following hot on the heels of the longest game of the match, this one is over in double-quick time. Federer races through to 15 to remain just the one break behind going into the changeover.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 3-1 FEDERER - A fifth ace of the match seems to put Djoker on the road to an easy consolidation of the break, but a lovely passing shot from Federer and an awkward Djoker backhand into the net make it interesting at 40-30. The Swiss pull it back to deuce and we are treated to some exquisite exchanges with audacious winners and controlled net play in one of the contest's most epic games. The Serbinator finally pulls through the test when Fed-Ex blazes a shot into the net.

DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 2-1 FEDERER - BREAK! The Swiss Maestro has been in imperious serving form at this tournament but Djokovic continues to ask some big questions of it - and finally gets his reward with the first break of the match. At 15-30 he has a big opportunity, only to get his angle wrong on a crosscourt forehand. A rasping winner to the left of Federer's court ties it at deuce before the seven-time champion double faults to hand his opponent a real chance. Djoker responds and sears a stunning backhand down the line to get himself right back in this final. Now, time to see that trainer!
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 1-1 FEDERER - Nole roars through a confident service game to 15, finishing it off with an ace down the middle T. The Serb has called for the trainer ahead of the next changeover. That earlier fall may have tweaked something. It's not really affecting his game though. That was superb from him.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) 0-1 FEDERER - We are seeing some brilliant tennis at times here and that's a big, big hold for Federer. Djokovic will feel it just isn't his day as he sees two break points go begging before suffering a heavy fall during another full-blooded rally. He recovers to fight his way to a third deuce but Fed-Ex finally comes through. The point of the game comes at 30-15 and epitomises the Djoker spirit. The Serb's drop shot is picked up by Federer who seems confident of the point until Djoker swoops from nowhere to angle a lob across court that the Swiss can only flap into the alley.

DJOKOVIC 6-7(7-9) FEDERER - SET! The seven-time champion snatches the opener from the jaws of defeat in 52 minutes after saving two set points. The Swiss saw a 4-2 lead eroded away in the TB as he miscued a trio of backhands to trail 5-4. Djoker then went within a whisker of winning a quite sensational point when he defended two overheads before lobbing a pick up from a drop shot just wide. The Serb teed up set point with a thunderous return winner but could only stab a forehand on the stretch into the alley under the attack of a pumped up Fed. The top seed snared a second set point when Federer chipped into the net but saw it immediately quashed by two big serves from the Swiss. The pressure was evident on the Serb's face and he fizzed a simple backhand down the line into the net to hand his opponent the initiative.

DJOKOVIC 6-6 FEDERER - 2-4 in the TIE BREAK! A stray Djokovic backhand and a Swiss ace put Federer 3-0 up early on. Nole hits back with two well constructed points on serve but then sears a tame shot into the net ahead of the changeover.
