Federer believes he must deploy an offensive game-plan to overcome the top seed. He said: "It's really important for me to stay aggressive against him, and especially here at Wimbledon. Novak can hurt you down the line or cross-court on both sides. His forehand, his serve, his movement clearly is what stands out the most at the moment. He's really been able to improve that and make it rock solid."

It's not just Nole v Roger. This one is being billed as: Beck-ovic v Fed-berg! The super coaches of Boris Becker and Stefan Edberg enjoyed a great rivalry on the court during the 80s and 90s, playing three Wimbledon finals that the Swede edged two titles to one. They will resume the old duel at SW19 today with these ex-players coaching the modern greats. Rather spookily, Becker and Edberg met 35 times - and this is the 35th showdown between Djoker and Fed-Ex.
