Evening all, and welcome to another evening of unstoppable Premier League behaviour!

Everton can't really get the ball at the moment, but they look relatively comfortable in defence.

Holgate is a going to be a really good player. For a second it looks like Sane's beaten him, but he's got the pace to get back, then times his tackle perfectly to concede another corner which comes to nothing.

De Bruyne gathers possession just outside the D and finds Aguero to his left. But Keane knows he'll shoot from his body language and blocks behind for a corner which comes to nothing. All in front of Everton at the moment.

Baines slides in to rob Sterling as he gallops towards goal; the crowd call for a backpass, but that was definitely a tackle.

I wonder if Everton will look to take advantage of the extra man; the reality, I guess, is that in wont' matter in general play as it's up front that they're light, but if they can make City run hard, space will open up in behind as they chase the game.

De Bruyne leaves a ball to Silva as both burst through midfield, Silva can't get there because Davies is in the road, and Everton clear.

City are sending on Sterling for Jesus. I guess they'll now play a 3-1-4-1. Meanwhile, Guardiola converses with the third official in the tunnell.

That was an entirely unremarkable half which suddenly got interesting. City played ok without creating much clear-cut; or, put another way, Everton organised and defended well. And one break was all it took to take advantage of that dodgy defence, and for tempers to subsequently be lost. The second half should be a belter.

KYLE WALKER IS SENT-OFF! Defending a long hump from Pickford, he turns, has a look, and backs Calvert-Lewin in the phizog - well, it looks like he does, and Calvert-Lewin definitely collapses as if he has. This earns him a further card, so off he pops amid much consternation. Lovely stuff!

Our Kyle is vex. He finds himself storming towards goal for the first time, fed by De Bruyne, only for Baines to slide in with a superb challenge!

City are frustrated, and Walker dives in on Baines with the ball who knows where. He's booked.
