NADAL 6-3 5-7 7-6 4-3 DIMITROV: Nadal has the court at his mercy after another draining 18-shot rally but then misses his forehand to go down 15-30. He makes no mistake at the second time of asking. Dimitrov lets out another cry of anguish after netting a backhand and Nadal finds the line with a superb backhand to edge ahead again. If he breaks, he’ll try and serve it out.

NADAL 6-3 5-7 7-6 3-3 DIMITROV: Grigor Dimitrov still playing some of his best tennis and he is a real delight to watch, a tennis connoisseur’s dream. This time, it’s the languid, effortless power of Dimitrov that gets the better of the muscle, hustle and bustle of Nadal. He holds another tight game to 30 to level up.

NADAL 6-3 5-7 7-6 3-2 DIMITROV: Dimitrov opens with another lovely backhand winner, his 48th outright in the match. Nadal comes out on top of another simply stunning rally with a blistering backhand pass and digs out another big hold with a swinging serve that Dimitrov can’t return. Both playing great at the same time now.

NADAL 6-3 5-7 7-6 2-2 DIMITROV: Dimitrov in control of another rally until the final shot and that’s the psychological problem with playing Nadal. He runs for absolutely EVERYTHING! A gorgeous backhand from Dimitrov finds the line but he gets some bad luck as a forehand catches the tape and flies out. It doesn’t distract him and Dimitrov pulls out a really gutsy hold under pressure.

NADAL 6-3 5-7 7-6 2-1 DIMITROV: A much more comfortable service game for Nadal when he needed it. He holds to 15 after Dimitrov shanks a backhand long.

NADAL 6-3 5-7 7-6 1-1 DIMITROV: Nadal asking all the questions now and wants this job over in four sets. It’s to Dimitrov’s credit that he hangs tough to stay in the fight with two big serves and a clenched fist.

NADAL 6-3 5-7 7-6 1-0 DIMITROV: More screams of anguish from Dimitrov. He’s played some of his best tennis but is somehow still behind. Nadal is such a good front runner it will be a huge task as Nadal wins another classic rally with a forehand winner.

NADAL 6-3 5-7 7-6 DIMITROV: SET! The tie break follows the topsy-turvy nature of the set as mini breaks come and go after a series of tense rallies. Nadal gains the first set point at 5-6 on the Dimitrov serve and gets it done as the Bulgarian nets a fierce backhand. Neither player really deserved to lose that one!

NADAL 6-3 5-7 6-6 DIMITROV: TIE BREAK! That break doesn’t seem to have had any significant effect on Rafa, who races to a quick love hold. Let's hope that person is okay.
