NADAL 2-1 DIMITROV: As with the opening Rafa service game, Dimitrov with a little ‘come on!’ after winning the opening point. But Nadal works the ball onto that lethal forehand to move ahead in the game and closes it out with an incredible, inside-out forehand winner.

NADAL 1-1 DIMITROV: Dimitrov does well so slide into a defensive backhand down at the feet of an advancing Rafa before firing down successive aces for a confidence building love hold.

NADAL 1-0 DIMITROV: An early ‘come on!’ from Dimitrov as he forces a couple of Nadal errors, manoeuvring the himself onto the forehand wing. Rafa responds with a big forehand of his own to get a foothold in the game but Dimitrov threads a Federer-esque backhand winner to earn two break points. The Spaniard saves the first with an overhead and the second with a tremendous second serve and inside-out forehand winner before digging out a tough opening service hold.
